พลเอก ทรงวิทย์ หนุนภักดี ผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุด และคณะ ได้เดินทางเยือนสาธารณรัฐอินเดีย

ในระหว่างวันที่ 21 – 24 มกราคม 2568 พลเอก ทรงวิทย์ หนุนภักดี ผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุด และคณะ ได้เดินทางเยือนสาธารณรัฐอินเดียอย่างเป็นทางการตามคำเชิญของ พลเอก ANIL CHAUHAN ผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุดอินเดีย เพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสองกองทัพ โดยผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุด เเละคณะ ได้เดินทางไปยังสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย ประจำสาธารณรัฐอินเดีย และได้เข้าพบนางสาว ภัทรัตน์ หงส์ทอง เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสาธารณรัฐอินเดีย ซึ่งผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุดและเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้มีการหารือเกี่ยวกับนโยบายของอินเดียที่มุ่งเน้นความร่วมมือในภูมิภาคตะวันออก (Act East Policy) ความมั่นคงทางทะเล ความสัมพันธ์ของเหล่าทัพในด้านการฝึกศึกษา การแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือน และการประชุมระหว่างฝ่ายเสนาธิการระดับอาวุโส (Senior Staff Talk)ของทั้งสองประเทศ อีกทั้งมีการหารือเกี่ยวกับอุตสาหกรรมป้องกันประเทศของอินเดียที่มีความทันสมัยและมีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

นอกจากนี้ ผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุด ได้เยี่ยมชมสำนักงานผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารไทย โดยมี นาวาเอก ณัฐพงศ์ พรรณรายน์ ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารไทย/นิวเดลี และนาวาอากาศเอก สุภชัย อุปัญญ์ รองผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารไทย/นิวเดลี ให้การต้อนรับ การเยี่ยมชม สำนักงานผู้ช่วยทูตทหารในครั้งนี้นอกจาก จะรับฟังปัญหาข้อขัดข้องในการปฏิบัติงานแล้วยังเป็นการสร้างขวัญและกำลังใจให้กับข้าราชการที่เดินทางมาปฏิบัติงาน ณ ต่างประเทศอีกด้วย

From January 21 to 24, 2025, General Songwit Noonpackdee, Chief of Defence Forces, and his delegation pay an official visit to the Republic of India at the invitation of General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff of Indian Armed Forces, to strengthen the relationship between the two armed forces. During the visit, the Chief of Defence Forces and his delegation also made an office call on Ms. Phatarat Hongthong, Thai Ambassador, at the Royal Thai Embassy in India. The meeting focused on discussions regarding India’s “Act East Policy,” maritime security, military cooperation in training, exercises and exchanges, and high-level meetings between senior officers of both countries. They also discussed the development and modernization of India’s defence industry.

Additionally, the Chief of Defence Forces visited the Thai Military Attaché Office, where he was welcomed by Captain (Navy) Natthaphong Phanrain, Thai Defence Attaché & Navy Attache to New Delhi, and Group Captain Supachai Uppanya, Deputy Defence Attaché & Air Attache to New Delhi. The visit allowed the Chief of Defence Forces to address operational challenges and boost morale among Thai officials working overseas.
